Abstract

Language teaching and learning involve various methodological approaches, each with distinct linguistic features. These approaches determine how language is taught, learned, and used in different contexts. This article examines the linguistic characteristics of key methodological approaches in language teaching, including Grammar-Translation Method (GTM), Direct Method (DM), Audio-Lingual Method (ALM), Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), and Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT). Practical examples will be provided to illustrate each method.
