Abstract

This article explores the cognitive aspects of phraseological units in English and Uzbek languages. The study focuses on how these units reflect cultural and conceptual worldviews, analyzing their similarities and differences from a cognitive linguistics perspective. The research highlights metaphorical and metonymic processes underlying phraseological units and their role in shaping linguistic and cultural identity.
