EFFECTIVE TECHNIQUES FOR WORKING WITH PASSAGE 2 IN THE IELTS

Abstract

Annotation. This article examines effective strategies for working with Passage 2 in the IELTS Reading test. It focuses on understanding the logic behind True/False/Not Given questions, identifying the main idea for Heading Matching tasks, and applying practical time-management techniques. The analysis shows that Passage 2 requires higher-level critical reading skills, including recognizing logical connections, distinguishing between closely related ideas, and interpreting implied information.
