THE ART OF STYLISTIC DEVICES IN LITERATURE
Abstract
This thesis explores the artistic and communicative functions of stylistic devices in literary discourse. Particular attention is given to metaphor, simile, personification, hyperbole, irony, symbolism, imagery, and zeugma. The study demonstrates how these stylistic devices contribute to the aesthetic value of literary texts, enrich meaning, and strengthen readers’ emotional engagement.
