This article is dedicated to the comparative study of the features of realism in 19th-century Uzbek and English literature. It examines the methods used by Uzbek and English writers to reflect the social, political, and cultural issues of their societies. The similarities and differences between the two national literatures, along with their unique ideological and aesthetic characteristics, are analyzed. The article provides insights into how realism, as a universal phenomenon, manifested in Uzbek and English literatures.
